The Fidelity Millionaire Outlook is a national measure of millionaires' confidence levels on the state of the economy across five key areas - the stock market, consumer spending, the economy, business spending, and the value of real estate.

Fidelity Investments (Fidelity) conducts regular surveys of U.S. households with investable assets of at least $1 million, excluding workplace retirement accounts and any real estate holdings. The research analyzes millionaires' attitudes and behaviors on a variety of investing topics, including financial concerns, economic outlook, and use of financial advisors. Three surveys of U.S.millionaire households have been conducted to date. The most recent survey was conducted online in February 2009 by Richard Day Research, an independent third-party research firm, with completed responses from 1,012 financial decision-makers in U.S.millionaire households and a margin of error of +/- 3%. The previous survey was conducted online in January 2008 by Burke, Inc., an independent firm that has been conducting research since 1931, with completed responses from 1,000 financial decision-makers in U.S.millionaire households, and a margin of error of +/- 3%. The initial survey was conducted in December 2006 also by Burke, Inc., with completed responses from 2,507 financial decision makers at U.S.millionaire households and a margin of error of +/- 2%. None of the surveys identified Fidelity as the sponsor. Richard Day Research and Burke, Inc. are not affiliated with Fidelity Investments.
